Ancylosis cinnamomella (Duponchel, 1836)

Wingspan: 16-25mm

An attractive and brightly hued bivoltine species on the wing from April to June and again from early July to September. A scarce visitor to lights at Las Descargues and the Causse where it has been recorded infrequently. A species of rough, unmanaged grassland and open scrub.

The larva feeds on Artemisia, Sedum, Globularia.
