Brachmia blandella (Fabricius, 1798)

Wingspan: 10-12mm

A univoltine and variable species flying from June to August when it is an infrequent visitor to the lights of Las Descargues but one that can more easily be disturbed from the foodplant in early evening by sweeping. A species of woodland margins and heath wherever its foodplant is found.

The larva feeds on Ulex europaeus.
