Peribatodes secundaria ([Denis & Schiffermuller, 1775)

Feathered Beauty
La Boarmie des résineux

Wingspan: 36-45mm

Imago: Univoltine flying from June to August when it is an occasional visitor to light at Las Descargues but more frequently seen at traps in or near the conifer plantations of the ridge. A species of conifer plantations.

Larva: Feeds on Abies, Picea, Pinus, Juniperus spp. overwinters as a small larva before pupation takes place on the foodplant.
