Celypha aurofasciana (Haworth, 1811)

Wingspan: 12-14mm

Imago: Bivoltine, flying from May to August when it is a rare visitor to light and is infrequently taken at Las Descargues or, indeed, any of the other habitats of the area. Occasionally taken with a net during warm, sunny afternoons and evenings. A broadleaved woodland species.

Larva: Feeds in a silken gallery within mosses and liverworts.
