Thisanotia chrysonuchella (Scopoli, 1763)

Wingspan: 21-27mm

A univoltine species flying from April to early August when it comes frequently to light and has been recorded from all dry grassland sites.

The larva feeds on the stem bases of various species of grass within a silken tube, pupation takes place in a cocoon in the larval tube.
