Wingspan: 26-36mm

A univoltine species on the wing from June to August when it is an unusual species at Las Descargues but when found is usually taken at light in our close to the woodland heath of the ridge.

Larvae feed on herbaceous plants and woody perennials overwintering as small larvae before pupating below ground.
