Thera juniperata (Linnaeus, 1758)
La Phalène du genévrier
A univoltine species on the wing from September to the end of November when it is attracted to light and has been taken at Las Descargues and from meadows traps in the calcareous meadows where the foodplant occurs.
The larva feeds on Juniperus communis overwintering takes place as an egg, feeding in the spring and early summer and pupation spun-up between needles of the foodplant or in plant detritus on the ground.
