Scopula caricaria (Reutti, 1853)

L'Acidalie neigeuse

Wingspan: 24-28mm

A univoltine species with a partial second generation in the southern part of the region flying from July to September. It is an infrequent visitor to light but has been recorded at Las Descargues and from traps placed in the rough grassland of the ridge.

Larva feeds on Centaurea, Artemisia etc.
