Scopula decorata ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775)

Wingspan: 20-25mm

A bivoltine species on the wing from May to September in two overlapping generations. A species of calcareous substrates in lowland and montagne habitats. Here it is most commonly found on the Causse and appears more abundant in the late summer and autumn.

Larvae feed on Thymus species.
