Cnephasia cupressivorana (Staudinger, 1871)

Wingspan: 16-20mm

Imago: Apparently a univoltine species with few records here at Las Descargues and little available information in the current literature. It is always the first of the genus to be recorded here and can be taken as early as March, it is then seldom recorded after the end of May.

Larva: Feeds on various conifers, Scrophularia and Armeniaca spp. Egg stages and pupation have not been described.
