Ephestia parasitella Staudinger, 1859

Wingspan: 14-20mm

A univoltine species on the wing from June to September when it is attracted to light and unlike the other, closely related species it is not a pest of warehouse products.

Larvae possibly feed on dried berries, dead ivy stems and dried plant material in general, overwinters in a silken cocoon with pupation taking place in early spring.
